TaffyCoin — ERC20 Token

As blockchain development tools, libraries, and documentation become richer and easier to use, it’s becoming simpler than ever to create a new token.

There’re over 16,000 cryptocurrencies in circulation and more than 490,000 tokens on Ethereum and counting…

Althought crypto may be in a bear market, in recent years, meme-type tokens such as Dogecoin and Shiba Inu have reached an astonishing market capitalization of $18 billion and $11 billion respectively, placing them as the #11 and #15 cryptocurrency on CoinMarketcap.com.

Inspired by these tokens, I’ve decided to create a new test token named after my dog… Here is a photo of Taffy —

Naturally, I’ve named the new token TaffyCoin.

Technically, TaffyCoin is a token rather than a coin. While future iterations of this token may have more interesting uses, the current version is intended for educational purposes only.
